Childhood Cartoons

As kids we all at some point watched looney tunes, duck tales, barney and friends, rugrats, power puff girls, and the magic school bus but the list goes on. When we watch shows we usually seem to grow on the characters we can relate to the most, and that's the same as having a favorite cartoon character. My favorite would have to be Pooh Bear because he is true to people. For instance when Pigglet didn't have anywhere to live because the rain flooded her house Pooh offered his space for her to share with him. Which was sweet and a really good way of lending a hand. http://youtu.be/b0b6wHi2TfU Back in the day, haha, I know I didn't realize it but these shows taught us life lessons that helped us later on. In contrast to Pooh Bear, you also have Barney the purple Dinosaur, who demonstrated that books are fun based on the fact that it helps us use our imagination to grow. http://youtu.be/GIKbQDUQdq4 Also on the show the Magic school bus they were constantly insinuating that science can prove everything. Like when Arnold turned orange instantly Miss Frizzle had thought to be in the skin and for them to have a field trip to cure his orange skin complexion and to see what was the cause of it. http://youtu.be/pnstXZl6Kbk  Even the Power Puff girls taught us something which was to stand up for what we believe in. Bottom line is that the lessons our parents teach us may not stick the first time but  seeing it over and over again on tv sure did help.

Again that was back in the day when shows had meaning, now if you turn to cartoon network it is nothing but violence. Even Tom and Jerry as a great example, a cat and a mouse constantly getting revenge on each other. But in this episode the cat wanted to eat the mouse but the rooster also wanted to eat the mouse. So the cat gets clever to dress up like a girl, the rooster falls for it but the cat keeps hurting the rooster while the mouse is hurting the cat.  I understand it is supposed to be funny but last time I checked someone getting hurt isn't suppose to be humorous. http://youtu.be/Vh2J9IaYLAs Another one would be bugs Bunny but he was the hero in the show which was cool because he wanted to tell people to stop running their mouths. 

The point is as children we see these characters in action and they sort of become our role models, but we have to make sure we completely agree what they stand for. We don't want to look up to someone who is always fighting but someone who has good intentions for what they are fighting for. That's neither here nor there shows have change over time and we have to be careful what we watch now a days. Thank you for reading my blog I hope you enjoyed it. Fast and Furious!

                        I strongly believe that the "Fast and The Furious" Series are the best movies ever created on this earth! I like these movies has the best action packed films and it has the sexiest men  in the movie. Fast Five is the best one because all the action ideas and plans, they had to steal all the money and they tricked the police and got away with it in the end. I love how they had all the different personalities for each part that was needed. For instants, Dom Was the fighter of the group he was kind of like the leader.I love there theme song because it actually goes with the movie unlike other movies out there. "To fast to furious i'm to fast for y'all man!"that song  was by ludacris who was apart of the movie.These movies are great to wacth if you love cars,and action i love both.Do you think these movies are great like i do? If so or if not please comment so i can see what you have to say.If you have not seen these movies please watch them because they will have you at the end of your seat.These are the frist movies where everyone of them are good.

Famous For Not Having Talent

Many people recently are famous for not actually having talent and are more well known for the hype they create than what little or no talent they actually have. Obviously unless a person doesn't have internet, TV, a cellphone with internet, or friends with those things, everyone has at least heard these names. Rebecca Black, Snooki and the rest of the cast of Jersey Shore, Paris Hilton, The Kardashians, and The Teen Mom Cast. Firstly, Rebecca Black made a video on YouTube that currently has over 20 million views and has over 500,000 dislikes. Clearly she doesn't have many people who actually enjoy her music. However a parody of the song which is titled Rebecca Black "Friday" (Brock's Dub) which has over 10 million views more than the original video and frankly is much more entertaining. But why is Rebecca Black famous? The answer is simple. She wanted to make a music video and her parents let her, she uploaded it to YouTube and got slaughtered by those who watched it. Next, The entire cast of Jersey Shore, they drink, party, get into fights, have sex, and prove their lack of intelligence. The cast gives a bad name to the people who live in New Jersey and creates a stereotype for so called "Guidos". According to a Huffington Post article originally posted on April first 2011 Snooki was paid $32,000 to speak to college students attending Rutgers College which is located in New Jersey and even some students said it was a waste of money. Paris Hilton, seriously what is she famous for other than being the heiress of Hilton hotels? Probably all the drug troubles she's had, her plastic surgeries and her total fail at a singing career since she simply doesn't have talent. Perhaps the only thing she's done well is play a character, Amber Sweet, who could have easily been a caricature of Paris Hilton. Both are spoiled heiresses to highly successful businesses, are hooked on drugs and surgery, and both think they can sing. The Kardashians have majorly capitalized on a sex tape with Kim Kardashian in it.  Which lead to their reality TV show a clothing line and a faux wedding in order to make money. What talent do the Kardashians have? Perhaps capitalizing on scandal, and a record for how many times they say "like" in 60 seconds. Lastly, The cast of Teen Mom. What are they more than people who can't use a condom and want to be famous for being knocked up. Sadly, my mom watches this even though she hates the idea of people not much older than me being parents themselves. Teen Mom creates an image about teens that isn't true and makes money off the young mother's troubles, dramas, and stupid choices. Hopefully there will be more stars with talent in the future.

For those who do not watch battle of the Exes its about 20 or 30 ex couples are sent here on the show to win the grand prize $$$. I love this show because its funny to me you have to team up with your ex and you guys have to get along in order to sucessed in this battle. All of the ex couples live in this huge house. Every couple has their story on why him or her ex broke up. They are brought to this show to either see if you guys have good connection with people you had history with or to see if they can really get through this challenge. So if you seen or heard of this show can you picture yourself on this show with your ex boyfriend or girlfriend? But you had no idea that your ex has to be your partner. Until you figure out you two will have to work as a team team up and get through the challenges. How would you feel if you had to go through something like this? You guys broke up for a reason months later you guys find each other on the same tv show and realize you guys are partners. You guys are required to work together and try your best for the grand prize $$$. Its crazy how these exes have to work together knowing they have some type of situation going on or that already went on. How would you feel if this happened to you? This show is crazy its basically just like fear factor. They do crazy and outrageous things on here. Its just crazy how you and your ex are teamed up and that person is the last person you wanted to see and knowing that they HAVE to be you partner is even worse!!!! What do you think what would be going through your head if you had to be on this tv show? would you fore-fit and leave? Would you stay just for the grand prize? If I had to go through this I would try my very best and try to stick it through and go as far as i can.But if not ill just quit leave because i dont need to spend time and get along with my ex knowing we left for a reason lol...

Tyler Perry's "The Family That Preys"

                I have again watched another one of Tyler Perry's phenomenal movies. This movie is called "The Family Who Preys." In all honesty, when the movie first started, I thought it would be about an old, snobby, white family who did bad to a black family. After watching the movie, I was definitely all wrong. Before I get into a brief synopsis of this movie, I'd like to say that this movie did make me cry at some parts and it definitely had a very good meaning to it. I recommend you all watch this movie some how because its truly worth a watch. Basically in the beginning of the movie, Charlotte had her best friend, Alice, daughter's (Andrea) wedding in her beautiful mansion. Andrea was very difficult to deal with, based on her sister's (Pam) reaction to Andrea's ungrateful words. Throughout the movie, I thought that problem after problem arose. One of the problems that occurred is that Andrea is having an affair  with William Cartwright, Charlotte's son. Seeing that made me uncomfortable in way considering both of them were married. Anyways, she has been receiving large amounts of money from William. Its sad how some woman still don't know how to legitimately work for their money! On the other hand, another problem that occurred was the fact that Charlotte had Alzheimer's disease, and she soon passed away. Before that she desperately wanted Alice to go on a road trip around the United States to make memories. One moment that stuck out to me during their trip was that Charlotte was up in the middle of the night with her camera and memory card saying, "the memory is full!" After she said she had the disease, I basically broke out in tears because of how true it was when she said "the memory is full." since it was for her. There were a few more problems that happened but they were very brief. When Ben and Chris lost their jobs I was about to lose it myself! I think it was very selfish of Andrea and William to betray their spouses and cause such a war in the movie. I'm glad that at the end William's wife, Jillian, stood up for herself and went to the hotel room William and Andrea went to every Wednesday to handle their dirty deeds. I bet Andrea got the message! William finally left Andrea, which was a weight lifted off my shoulders as I was very engaged to the movie. Well, I hope you all decide to watch this movie one way or another, because like I said, its worth the watch. 

Facebook Timeline?

Is it just me or do you also hate the facebook timeline?

If you have facebook then you know what im talking about. Is it just me or do you guys also hate the new profile update about facebook? To me its more complicated then it was to the first profile. It's annoying everything when you going on one of your friends profile and you have to wait a little longer just so their page can load becuase of the timeline. Chosing cover photos for your profile? Like really all of this is not neccasry. I mean im not gonna lie i like the timeline but its just so annoying because we were use to the old profile and once they updated and created the timeline its just like OMG now i have to learn how to work and see how this timeline works. Its annoying i wonder why they keep changing and updating facebook. Everyones on twitter now so whats the point of updating and changing facebook? Dont you think we should go back to the old profiles or do you guys actually like the timeline as the new thing on facebook? To me it looks nice and stuff but its just so annoying and aggervating. Honestly what do you guys think about the timeline on facebook? Do you guys think its annoying or you guys actually like the timeline and dont think its annoying because its something new on facebook? Most people on facebook dont have the timeline becuase to them its pointless and dont want it because to them its dumb. I mean its not myspace so why update our profiles and update it?

Do you guys watch jersey shore? If so dont you think sometimes these people are dramatic?
exspecially "Mike the Situation"!!!! He's The majod drama queen in this show. My favortie people are pauly D because hes super funny and is fun he knows how  to have a good time. Honestly i like everyone except mike. On some shows they can really be like over borad and make you in the mood where your just like really? Did they really just do what i think they did? But other than all the drama and stuff Jersey shore is a pretty good show. Your probably not the type who likes to watch shows that they mainly go to clubs and stuff but its a pretty good show. if you really see this show if you take away all the clubbing and stuff they just act like us teenagers living life. But what im tryna get here is if you see this show as you already know pauly d is like the main guy he just the best one on the show and not just because hes the cute one to me. Can you imagine if they took pauly d away from the show? How do you think jersey shore would be? would it be the same or would jersey shore should just stopping the show is pauly leaves? We already saw how it looked when vinny left the house. Everyone was upset the were sad. Now when mike left no one really cared to them they felt better that mike left. When sammi left last season everyone was somewhat upset but they went upon their lives. If pauly d leaves how do you think the show would be like? would it be boring and just not the same or would everyone be upset for a while and just go back to doing them? To me honestly if pauly d leaves i think they should just stop the show becuase if pauly leaves its really not the jersey shore. I bet everyone would stop watching the show if pauly d leaves because who doesnt love pauly d.? How would you feel if he left for good and is not coming back to the show again?

The Vow is a really touching movie !

To me honestly this movie is a sad frustrating movie. The reason why i say is is because can you imagine yourself years from now maybe 10-15years later your all grown up you fall in love with the right one! One day you guys are on a romantic date and the biggest dieaster of your lives occured, you get into a car crush because a truck behind you bumped into you. Your beloved flies out through the wind shield and you figure out she has brain damage.She\he cannot absolutely remember nothing only his\her high school memories! It's hard for you to try and regain his\her memories. she\he cannot remember who you are why you guys got married or any history you guys had in the past. Can you picture yourself married and your loved one got into a crash and does not remember who you are? Would you have the patience to try and make your loved one try and regain her memory back? even though he or she will never remember what happened between you guys? It will have its hard & easy times. But your loved one basically doesnt even know who you are? he or she has no clue why you guys are even married. Picture yourself trying to regain your loved ones memory and he or she only remembers that he or she was engaged to his or hers high school lover. They find each other and flirt right in your face. What can you possibly do? It's not his or her fault that she cant remember anything. You try everything you can possibly do so she or he can regain his or hers memory but nothing is working so they can get their memory back. On top of that his or her  parents are  trying to bring him\her back to the house planning his\her life and trying to get you out of the pictue because you really cant provide anything for him\her.How would you feel if you ever went through this? Can you picture yourself going through something like this.? Do you think you have the patience to go through something like this?

Ernie Davis

ERNEST (ERNIE ) DAVIS

Ernest Davis was born on December 14 ,1939 in  New Salem,Pennsylvania to Marie Davis and Died in May 18,1963.At the 14 months Ernie was sent to live with his grandparent in Uniontown Pennsylvania because his father died in a auto shop accident before Ernie was born,and the young mother was need of a job.Already having 12 children the grandparent accepted Ernie.Ernie spent his early years playing sports with older uncle.At the age of eleven years old Ernie mother remarried and took her child back with her to Elmira,New York to live with her.It was a big move for Ernie but his athletic abilities at a young age helped him earn his respect from the other kids at the local community center. Ernie played tackle football at small fry football for the superior buick team. Davis was also noticed for his enthusiasm and leadership.As a freshmen at Elmira free academy joined the junior varsity football but broke his wrist and had to sit out for the whole year but he also played baseball and basketball.Ernie senior year college wanted him like Notre Dame , University of Michigan, and heavily recruited by Syracuse another power house football team where Jim Brown played at Syracuse , the head coach Ben Schwartzwalder and Jim brown influence Ernie Davis to go to Syracuse .Davis freshmen team went undefeated Ernie was a skilled running back he gained 100 plus yards in eleven games in his college career. He also played defensive , he also earned respect from his kind and generous nature Ben Schwartzwalder said to Sports Illustrated "Ernie was a just like a puppy dog friendly and warm and kind". In Ernie sophomore he rushed for 686 yards and led Syracuse to an 11-0 record Davis outscored Syracuse opponent 80-73. Syracuse Played the Texas Longhorn in the orange bowl and won the game 23-14 Ernie Davis was named player of the game. In 1961 Ernie won the Heisman trophy making him the first African American to win that.On July 28 1962 Davis went to the hospital and got tested  for the mumps or Mononucleosis but the result cam back that he had Monocytic Leukemia .On may 17 1963 on friday night Ernie fell into a coma at 2 a.m. he coughed once and died at the age of 23 years old.

Drake

Do you guys remember Drake when he was in Degrassi? I used to love that show. And that's when i started to notice Drake. I barely listen to Rap. But ever since he started getting more and more famous i started liking him and Rap more. All i usually listen to is Reggaeton which is my favorite. But Drake just puts me in the best mood ever. My favorite songs of Drake are Take Care, Promise, and I'm so proud of you. To me, his songs just relate to me, and i love those kinds of songs. I think they made a good choice in making him famous. Drake was born in Canada and is 26 years old. He's at a good start at his age. I'm so sure he's going to make it very far. He honestly can be a role model for many kids out there. Because honestly many kids would want to be a rapper just like him. I mean you do have to follow your dreams like Drake says " you only live once that's the motto." And he's right. Most people don't like Drake and i have no clue why, But he's just amazing at what he does. What do you honestly think about Drake? And who's your favorite rapper?

VH1 came back with a a fourth season of  basketball wives on for an hour every Monday night. All the same cast member's that we know and love are back , minus Meeka Claxton who was Season 3 new addition to the group. Shaunie O'Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Royce Reed,Suzie Ketcham ( a non factor),Jennifer Williams,Tami roman, and the two new girls Kesha Nichols and  Kenya Bell is the line up for this session how exciting. On Monday nights show The cast migrated from Miami to New York. Jennifer talks to Tami Roman and Shaunie O'Neal but she hasn't been speaking with former BF Evelyn Lozada to me that's not a shocker but Jennifer isn't  the only one who has friend drama ,Suzie has been having a few problems of her own with Royce Reed , Royce feels like she was thrown under the bus since Suzie finally got what she wanted her spot in the circle back.Tami was surprised to find out that Evelyn and Jennifer had beef. But Evelyn is not pressed to make time for Jennifer. Jennifer is  really not sure what Evelyn's problem is, her attempts to repair the rift have been ignored.Jennifer is willing to be cordial with Evelyn but knowing Evelyn she loves drama so that's not going to happen.
