Chris Brown: A Triple Threat

Christopher Maurice Brown was born on May, 5 1989 in Tappahannock,VA. Being born in a small town (of roughly 2000 people) helped make his talents stand out. When he was younger he sang in his church choir. Everyone knew he was meant to be a star, his singing just one of his many talents. Brown debuted his first single, "Run It!", in 2005 at age 16. The single immediately hit the Billboard Top 100. His self-titled album sold millions. His voice was seen to be unique, and started the rise of his stardom. Singing is not his only talent. Brown is also a proclaimed dancer, doing choreography in all of his videos and live performances. He makes some of his own choreography, but can always keep up with others. Brown is also known for his freestyle dancing and stunts, such as flips. His style of dance has also been compared to Usher and the great Michael Jackson. Brown did a tribute to Michael Jackson after his passing and broke down crying while performing. That showed how much Jackson has been an influence on Brown and his career. Brown has been seen as a new version of the Pop King due to his dancing and singing skills. His talents, although, do not stop there. Chris Brown has also been taking a dip into the acting world. His first big-screen debut was in Stomp the Yard (2007), where Brown died within the first 15 minutes. The movie mostly showed off his dancing talents, other than his acting. His next movie, This Christmas (2007), gave his acting more recognition. He played the youngest brother of a big family. The role showed his funny and serious side, which portrays how dynamic he can be. This role was a nice family movie, but his last role in Takers (2010) was the role that put him on the map as an actor. In the movie he played the youngest of a band of professional bank robbers. In the movie Brown showed his dynamic acting, but also performed his own stunts. He had a full scene of him running from cops. In the scene, Brown jumped around buildings, over rails, and down stairs. All of those stunts were done by him. This just shows that Brown works hard for the fame power he has. He can obviously sing, dance his butt off and surprisingly act. It is no mistaking that Chris Brown is the ultimate triple threat.
