4th quarter reflection post solo musical sabrina fenelon p7

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be... to maintain a good pitch. I have trouble with breathing while I sing. Also, I get nervous because I am very serious about singing.
After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was...not letting my nerves get to me. It was so hard for me to rid myself of nerves. I think that is why I messed up. I t wasn’t because I didn’t know the lyrics it’s because I was so nervous.
The most important thing I learned from this activity is...to prepare completely before a performance. I think the more you know you have done your performance flawlessly before. The less your nerves get to you.
The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is...that spending time with people that love to sing is awesome. I had the opportunity to work with Mariana and, Nicole. They are both amazing and, great singers. I also find myself being a lot more comfortable with them.
The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is...my overall performance. I think my class enjoyed it. Also, I never got to perform that song in front of people. And Wicked is my favorite musical.
The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is...my unprofessionalism in starting the performance over. I think I could have kept on performing but at the time I was so nervous. But I learned from that mistake.

4th Quarter Project

Before attempting this activity I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be finding a scene for two females that was actually somewhat interesting and not too long to memorize.
After completing it I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was memorizing my lines. I always seem to have trouble memorizing speeches, lines and anything of the sort. But I can memorize lyrics without an issue. But I suppose I'll end up getting better at memorizing lines over time.
The most important thing I learned from this activity is that no matter what I must do my part regardless if my partner is. I need to motivate myself.
The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that the amount of effort you put into the project is represented in the grade you receive.
The aspect of my work I am most satisfied with is the script that my partner and I agreed to perform. I find it to be well written, fun to perform, and interesting to read.
The aspect of my work I am least satisfied with is my unpreparedness and own laziness making my project sub-par to what I would have wanted to present and perform. The performance could have been more polished,  and performance ready than it was.

Reflection Blog: costume design, The Wiz

  1. Before attempting this assignment i thought the hardest part would be incorporating my style into the characters of my play style. This would be hard because i didnt want to change them up too much.
  2. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was actually bringing everything together and making my audience actually  see that the characters were from the wiz. I had to make sure the characters were not mine but my plays.
  3. The most important thing I learned from this activity is do not try to do anything last minute. You may think its easy but it takes time.
  4. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is your presentation really matters. So make it fun not boring or your audience wont be interested.
  5. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is that i had fun doing it and you can very much tell. I didnt just throw anything together.
  6. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is I could have spent more time making my art perfection. It would have made a huge impact on the outcome and look of my display.

Playwright Project

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be coming up with an idea.  It took a lot of brainstorming, but I did it.  After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was coming up with an endingand a beginning that actually made sense.  It was hard,  butnot impossible.  The most important thing I learned from this activity is that everything takes patience, focus, and determination.  The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that writing a play is harder than I thought.  I have to hand it to Shakespeare, he was incredibly talented.  The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is with the storyline.  I felt that it was strong.  The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is the opening scene of the play.  I felt that it was very weak.  I wish I could have done better.

Acting !

1. Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be choosing a monologue that would showcase my acting ability.  I thought the process of choosing a monologue that I liked would be the hardest challenge.
2.After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was not freezing up in class. I am not really shy when it comes to acting.  However, lately I have been shaking up and it makes me seem as if I don't know my lines.  I do better when I perform in front of a big audience instead of in front of classmates because you can't really hear audience remarks and facial expressions so it less stressful.
3.The most important thing I learned from this activity is I have to control my nervous energy and learn to tune people out even when audience members say remarks during my performances.
4.The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is how many personalities you get to portray with monologues.
5.The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is I had great time management and I understand the concept of my monologue.
6.The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is I let my nerves get the best of my performance and i froze up which made me seem like I forgot all my lines.

4th May Reflection Post

4th Quarter Acting Project

1.Before attempting this activity I though the most difficult part to accomplish would be remembering my lines. When I was choosing the monologues I wasn't focusing on length it was mostly on how interesting it was. Then when i was writing them down I noticed one of them was extremely long. So then I got worried because I was thinking how on earth could I ever memorize that. So I started by memorizing the shorter one and moved to longer one later.Too late actually.

2.After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was  trying to do the scene within the time length. I timed my scene when I was practicing and it was long enough. But when I got up to preform I was very, very nervous, and that made me talk faster. So as I was doing the scene I was trying my hardest to slow my words down so that the scene would be long enough. Eventually I got myself together enough to do it correctly. Performing is scary and that threw me off.

3.The most important thing I learned from this activity was that even though most of the time I'm not good at it, I NEED to stop procrastinating with my assignments.Over the weekend i went to something called F.A.B.A.I.C. And when I got home I told myself I was too exhausted to do anything. So I had a ton of homework and ended up not doing any of it. So Monday was when I started actually working on all my assignments. Which was horrible. I'll learn... I hope. But thanks to the lord I'm lucky enough to have such an amazing teacher like Mrs.Gittings.

4.The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is a better way to remember my lines. When we did the class scenes project i remembered my lines just by reading the same thing over and over again but with this assignment i did it differently which was really great idea and a much better way for me to do it.

5.The aspect of my work on this activity that i am most satisfied with is how i performed. I feel like I did really good compared to how I've done on previous assignments. Before when i forgot my lines I kinda just froze and let everyone notice, but this time a piece of one  of my lines slipped my mind and instead of freezing up I just said something sort of like what the actual line was. I am really proud of myself for that.

6.The aspect of my work on this activity that i am most satisfied with is the fact that I wasn't ready to do both the scenes. In my own defense I didn't know we had to do both the scenes when we got up there so when Mrs.Gittings said we had 10 minutes to study I focused on studying the fist one because I thought I'd have more time. But I know it was wrong I knew I had to the scenes anyways so I should have been more prepared. That was bad.

4th quarter project reflection blog post

The Star-Spangled Girl by Neil Simon & Saint Joan by Bernard Shaw

1.) Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be how to block during my performance. I knew I had a habit of crossing my legs or twisting my hair, I didn't want to look weird just standing there and reciting my monologues. Once i tried to figure some blocks out, it was actually harder than i thought, I couldn't figure out where to put my hands or do with my legs either.

2.) After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was memorizing the monologues. At first, I didn't think it'd be a big deal just reciting it but it was considering the fact that it had to be at least 5 minutes with a bunch of people staring straight at you. I'm not afraid to mess up, because it happens, but I didn't want to be one of those people that freak out in the middle of their performance and just stop. Even though I forgot my lines a couple of times, I just picked myself back up and kept going, which I think is the important part.

3.)The most important thing I learned from this activity is that I should never underestimate how difficult of easy an assignment is. It was harder than I thought to memorize and perform two monologues. I was proud of myself for at least getting up in front of the class and trying my hardest, considering the fact that i learned both monologues in two days. I learned that it is also important to not show that you messed up. Once you make it noticeable that you messed up at something, people become bored and frustrated and I didn't want to be that person. I noticed this when other people in my class messed up. They announced it to the whole class and I immediately got frustrated and bored.

4.)The most surprising or interesting thing i learned from this activity is how well i do something when i really try. If it were up to me, I never would of got in front of my classmates for any reason at all. Even though i forgot some of my lines performing my monologues, I think I acted pretty well. I think my projection was pretty good and I believe I stayed in character the whole time. I knew that I wouldn't of even dared to do that in front of anyone and I was proud I finally had the guts to do it.

5.)The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is my courage to stand in front of an audience and perform. I know I wouldn't of done it before I took acting class. I am also most satisfied with how I almost got all my lines correct, besides that I believe I stayed in character the whole time and I made my performance seem believable.

6.)The aspect of my work that I am least satisfied with is my blocking. I know the lack of blocking took away from my performance because it didn't make it seem 100% believable without it. I am also least satisfied with how I forgot my lines in the middle of my monologue and I made it noticeable. Even though I mentioned earlier how important it is not to show you messed up, I admit I did and that it was a mistake I shouldn't of done. I know it would of got me the "A" I was looking for, but I'm fine with the grade I received.

1. Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be to memorize all my lines and execute the performance with energy without stumbling, or coming off as fake. I wanted to make sure the audience was engaged in my performance and not just watching a performance. I was very self conscious of it because of my previous critic of being to bland.

2. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was to not freeze up and panic in front of the audience out of nervousness. Before the performance I was a little scared something might go wrong and I started to worry a little but then I realized my group members and I practiced a lot and also because of the fact that I’ve preformed in front of all my class members before.

3. The most important thing I learned from this activity is choosing the right scene so you’re self and partners. I choose a comedy skit because that best suited the personalities of Edson and Jason so they were able to get into character better rather than choosing something they were uncomfortable with.

4.  The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is how easy it was for Edson, Jason and I to learn our lines. After going through a run through reading the next reading we were able to remember the majority of are lines and establish a voice and personality for the characters.

5.  The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is the delivery of the performance it was better than I thought and the feedback was good. I was worth all the studying and nervousness because in the end we got a good grade like we deserved.

6.  The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is I am completely satisfied with everything and my partners because at the beginning of the year I would have never been able to go up in front of class and performance a scene so I am a happy with all that I did

                                             Jessica Sneed  4th Quarter Project

*Before attempting this project I thought the most difficult part would be actually singing in front of the class because I was really nervous at first. When I actually did my performance I was not scared at all I was calm the whole time. Maybe part of my calmness came from the class looking empty when we did our performance.
*After completing I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was picking the correct song. My group changed songs at least three times. We had to try and find a song that would sound good with everybody's voice. The Dreamgirls song that we had choose previously was way to high.
*The most important thing I learned form this activity is that everybody can't be the boss. Sometimes you just have to sit and listen to people because if you don't it can cause lots of conflict and drama like what happened in my group.I also learned that you have to get along with your teammates because if you do the end result will be very good.
*The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that one of my teammates can sing very good. She sings in the choir at her church. So in our group we thought that she would be just perfect for the lead and she actually was GREAT!
*The aspect of my work that i'm most satisfied with is my ability to stand in front of the class and sing without me getting nervous at all. Usually when I do scenes I get really nervous, but it's just something about doing a song that really didn't make me nervous at all and i'm very proud of myself for that boldness.
*The aspect of my work that i'm least satisfied with is be not being able to communicate with some of my teammates I regret that. I believe that my group would have done much better if  we had better communication with each other.

refelction blog on group scene

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish was to find a play for my group, we even had to break up the original group to do that. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was to memorize our lines. The original play had typos so I didn’t know how to pronounce some of the words. The most important thing I learned from this activity is the more fun you have with an activity the better  it is. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that you really start to remember things you couldn’t before when you’re really nervous, such as my lines. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is the timing with my blocking and the audio we had. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is not taking the time to make the performance way better than it was.

Fourth quarter reflection project (group musical)

  1. Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be to really focus and stay in character and singing the right notes. Even though this performance was last minute, we pulled through.
  2. After completing it, i thought that the most difficult part to accomplish was: definetly staying in character and not breaking out of character to laugh or etc. Which didn't really work out to well because we all ended up laughing at least once, and got emotional.
  3. The most important thing that i learned from this activity was that: you can't get too attached to the seniors in your class/group. Besides that I've learned that when doing a group musical you really have to depend on one another regardless if you know it all or not.
  4. The most surprising thing that i learned from this assignment was that:  i can really sing, and that i wonderful hand, eye coordination with the movements needed/used in our musical performance of "do,re,mi" from the musical "Sound Of Music".
  5. The aspect of my work that i am most satisfied with is:  the fact that we all came together at last and sung as a whole. I felt as if we did a really good job performing this piece. Even though we had a little "situation" towards the end of our performance, which was all my fault i know.
  6. The aspect of my work that i am least satisfied with is:  when i broke character while singing. Due to the reminiscence of the times the seniors and i had throughout the school year. I wish i would have just stuck to the script, without breaking down.

Brianna's Blog Reflection

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish  would be, Performing in front of the class because when people start looking at me I get really nervous and timid. After actually completing the project I realized that I  was right the hardest part was performing in front of all those people because My group was singing with me for my grade, that performance did not benefit them so it put even more pressure on me. The most important thing I learned from this project is that Many of the people in my acting class has amazing talents that I never knew about before, for instants when Taylor got up and did her monologue I was appalled because when she went up there it was like she was a whole knew person. I never seen that side of her before and it was amazing. The most surprising thing that I learned from this assignment is that friends can always be there for you when you need them the most. I was so scared to get up and sing in front of all those people that I almost backed out but Arnitria and Shiliah was able to be there for me and encourage me to sing in front of everyone (even though I still did horrible), and I love them for that. The aspect of my work that I am least satisfied with is my performance I felt that I could have done way better if I had song louder and moved more. I feel that I really need to overcome my shyness and not care what people think so that I can be a better actor.

4th Quarter Project, Valeria Ceballos

  1. Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be hitting the notes in the song. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but that's what I liked about it. My whole motive for this project was to improve on my performance qualities and how I executed a song that was hard for me to sing.
  2. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was taking in the criticism given to me after my performance. I'm very hard on myself, and when I finished performing I knew what I did wrong and what I did very well. It changed my mind when other people pointed out the bad parts, which made me self conscious and doubt myself after the performance.
  3. The most important thing I learned from this activity is to stay strong and committed. People have a right to their opinion. There is always room to improve and one of those ways is to take criticism into consideration. Also, I learned that I have a lot more potential than I gave myself credit for.
  4. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is how well I could perform in front of an audience. I usually shake till no end while in front of people. This time my shakes were still there, but barely noticeable. As I got into the song, my nerves went away and I was comfortable with myself and others around me. I learned that my confidence can get better every time I perform.
  5. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is how well I executed the song. I felt that I was believable with my acting and the singing was good considering the fact that it was a hard song and I never had a singing class before. I am proud of what I managed to come up with in the time given.
  6. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is how I took the criticism given. Although I stayed composed, I was really upset about the comments made. I tried to stay strong and reassure myself but it became really hard for me. I wish I could have been a stronger person and not have taken the comments personally, but rather have taken them as a chance to analyze them and turn them into factors that could help me improve.

Reflection post

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be figuring out what musical I would choose to perform with my group.
After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was actually practicing when one of the members of my group were absent.
The most important thing I learned from this activity is that one must be patient when working with others.
The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that it wasn't as hard has I thought it would be.
The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is the actual choreographed blocking.
The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is my ability to sing.
I enjoyed working with Tim, Syd, and Bria.

Gabrielle Guy P.7 Reflection

Before attempting this activity, the most difficult part was deciding what piece we wanted to perform for out project. Originally in our group there were 4 girls and 1 boy. Our requirements for our piece was that we had to get a music theatre piece from a broadway play. It was hard to specifically find a piece that fit everyone in our group and at first we failed many times to get a song. But with much research we were able to find an off broadway piece from Rocky Horror Picture Show called Time Warp that satisfied our need. After attempting this activity, the most difficult part was being able to adjust to a sudden change. One of our group members was a senior and unfortunately they weren't able to make it to all of the rehearsals and wasn't prepared to do the part by the senior performance date. This meant that in less than a week, we had rearrange her part and split the role amongst 2 of our group members to learn and memorize. We were able to pull it off in time for the performance. The most important thing I learned from this activity was to always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. We were thrown a few obstacles in the way, but with hard work and optimism we were able to get through the rehearsals and crank out a great performance. The most interesting thing I learned from this activity is that interacton is key to having a good acting group. A lot of times in acting, rehearsing our scenes were boring and uninteresting and it cost us the opportunity to grow close so that we can be a better acting team. In this project by us working together, we were able to interact and get more ideas across and thus have a more productive rehearsal. The aspect of this activity that I'm satisfied with is the final result. We were able to go out there and have a fun performance. We had our mistakes, but what we were looking for the most was to have fun and enjoy what we were doing. The aspect of this activity that I'm least satisfied with is that we had to change things around last minute. It was stressful and time consuming. Instead of perfecting our performance, we had to add in different changes and that took time away from getting our performance right

Reflection Post( 4th quarter acting project) Stephany Parker

1. Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be..learning my monologues. I had to remember two of them, and they were pretty long. One of them being a page and half long, while the other was half a page. Commiting something to memory isnt as easy as it seems, the hard thing is actually becoming that character to perform that monologue with energy, not just seem like your reading lines.
2. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was getting myself into two different characters, from one second to the next. There was no pause in between monologues so their was really no time to prepare for a different role. Especially since my monoluges were completely different. In one i played a daughter of a country mother, and in the other..I was to be a homeless old woman with the worry of being thrown in prison.
3. The most important thing I learned from this activity is..to trust myself. I had the feeling of failure and and being worried if I messed up. I had to know that I knew my lines backwards and forward. It is not easy to get up in front of a class and try to convince them what type of person you are supposed to be when all they know is the title of the play. Plus, their was always that fear! Of not being able to convey what character I was playing. Now I know to be confident and not let my nerves or fears get to me.
4. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is.. when you put your mind to something and commit to it, you will succeed. I didnt think that I was going to be able to memorize my lines in the first place, because it was so difficult to even find a monologue that I felt comfortable doing. But once I got them, i learned them until I was able to rehearse through the entire scene without forgetting one block position.
5. The aspect of my work that I am most satisfied with is,, the ability that I had to work on it during class, normally I wouldnt want to get up and move around, but for this activity it was a must! Learning the words was one thing but you also had to have some sort of blocking, which I did. That made me feel good about myself.
6. The aspect of my work that I am least satisfied with is,, my articulation. Sometimes my nerves do take a hold of me. And their isnt anything I can do about it. So when I spoke during rehearsals and my scene you could barely hear me speak. I know it is something I have to work at, but sometimes your nervous system takes over your whole body!

Reflection Post (4th quarter project)

COSTUME DESIGN.

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be: It was the thought of designing the costume or a piece because I dont know anything about building a costume.
After completing it, i thought that the most difficult part to accomplish was: The drawing its self because I didn't know what to do where on the drawing. I knew what colors but I didn't quiet know what shades to use for them.
The most important thing that i learned from this activity was that : It's not as easy as everyone including myself thought it would be.

The most surprising thing that i learned from this assignment was that : I can draw better then what I imagined in the first place and everything came out nice.

The aspect of my work that i am most satisfied with is: I am most satisfied with one of my designs because I put the most work in it because it was my favorite character.

The aspect of my work that i am least satisfied with is: The fact that I didn't do an actual design because I was caught up on other work but that wasn't an excuse anyway. Other than that I think I did pretty good.

Before attempting the 4th Quarter Acting Project, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be coming out of my shell. In acting I haven’t really been the most ‘’out there’’ person even though I try to be. But after completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was memorizing my lines. During the scene I cut off and messed up a couple of my lines. But thankfully my partner, Calonda is an excellent actress. And I appreciate her trying to help me keep it together. The most important thing I learned from this activity is no matter how difficult things get, never give up because considering my problems with my lines we kept going and still managed a B. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is I’m better at acting than I thought. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is again my amazing partner Calonda keeping it together for us. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is I feel we could have gotten an A. But I’m happy I finally did my best, it feels really good.

Costume design, 4th qr project

Deziree Rodriguez-Frias , costume reflection post,

1.Before attempting this activity, i thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be designing the five actual costumes. The reason i thought this would be the most difficult part of the entire project is because in the end you have to make one piece of the costume, and i wasn't sure about what i could draw and the fact that i wouldn't be able to make it.

2. After completing the project, i now think the most difficult part to accomplish was make the actual piece. For my costume design i made the fairy god mothers wand from "The sleeping beauty". In constructing the wand , the hardest part was finding the material to create the wand and keep the materials together. The biggest problem i ran into was the wand falling apart, and the paint and the star on top not staying put.

3. The most important thing i learned from this activity is to always be patient, and also be very open minded and creative. If i wasn't patient i would have never figured out a way to make the wand stay or find the materials. I was able to use things i never thought i could to make the wand.

4. The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that it was fun to be open minded and have your mind go places you never thought it could go.

5. The aspect of my work on this activity that i am most satisfied with is how the designs came out to look in the end and also how the wand , ended up turning out. I didn't believe that the project would come out good, but it did.

6. The aspect of my work on this activity that i am least satisfied with is my time management. If i had enough time i could have made my 5 designs more difficult.

MAY REFLECTION POST.

Period 4

1. Before attempting this activity, I though the most difficult part to accomplish was... how am i going to put the actual piece of costume together. I had to think of different ideas knowing that it had to be an article of clothing and not just a prop.

2. After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was... Making the sketching for my costume rendering. It was tough drawing the actual charcter from a book without being an artist but i pulled through it with the best of my ability and drew what i could.

3. The most important thing I learned from this activity is that... Hard work does pay off. It took about a full 3 hours just to create my rendering or sketch. It took me more to do my final draft. I also learned now that costume design is not as easy as i though it would be it does take lots of time and also alot of thinking and planning on what the next line will be.

4. The most surprising and interesting thing I learned from this assignment is... To not overlook as i mentioned in question 3 costume design. It is not as easy as people hype it to be. I am still glad i chose costume design over duet scene or monologs. It was very interesting to see how having a perfession in this area is not as easy as many other things.

5. The aspect of my work that I'm most satisfied with is... Creating my costume. It is a great feeling when you work so hard on something an the outcome that you have been waiting for for so long has happened, thats what i'm most satisfied with. I like what i did with my final piece and am glad once again that i chose the play and idea that i did.

6. The aspect of my work that I'm least satisfied with is... there is nothing really that i could say for this portion of this reflection. In all, i am very happy with my final sketchings and this was the first time i was put to the task and since everything turned out ok i am very happy to say that i'm glad about the outcome of my costume design.

MAY BLOG REFLECTION.

                                                        COSTUME DESIGN.

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be: To draw all those outfits and make them look real, after all am not really a stylist, and  i had never actually drawn something pretty before.

After completing it, i thought that the most difficult part to accomplish was: To actually make the barbie look like my drawing, and do it all by myself.

The most important thing that i learned from this activity was that : You don't have to be an stylist to make a something pretty, or a art expert to make a nice drawing.

The most surprising thing that i learned from this assignment was that : I had a better imagination than i thought, I thought that all of my drawing will be horrible but some of them actually turned out to be very nice.

The aspect of my word that i am most satisfied with is: That i picked costume design it was actually  a really easy assignment, and the most satisfied part to me was that i did not had to perform anything in front of the class. And that i did a very good job from my point of view.

The aspect of my work that i am least satisfied with is: In didn't really  took time in two of my drawing and they were not as pretty as the other ones.

                                                  May Blog Reflection.

For my 4th quarter project I did the costume design.                                                    1. Before attempting this activity, I thought that it should be fun and creative doing a Costume Design.

2. After completing it I know think the most difficult part to accomplish was to read the play and than make the clothes according to what I read.

3.The most important thing I learned from this activity was to focus on the play to avoid making a mistake in how to design the clothes.

4.The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that is interesting to make your own outfits and it's a fun project to do.

5. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is everything I did, skirt, shirt, shoes.

6. The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is the drawings and that someone lost the shoes I made.

Reflection Post

Before attempting this activity, I thought the most difficult part to accomplish would be to actually draw the outfit. I'm not the best artist out there but i think i did a pretty decent job on it. I really hope it was to Mrs.Gittings likings, because she is an amazing costume designer.

After completing it, I now think the most difficult part to accomplish was understanding each character. In order to create a costume you have to know the character. I felt as if a couple were pretty difficult, not really knowing how they acted, since i have only seen the musical once in my life. Overall i believe that i understood the concept of each character. With their message toward each other.

The most important thing I learned from this activity is knowing how to cooperate with myself. I have to feel confident with each piece that i made. If there was something wrong on it i had to quickly edit that. Especially since i was using paint it was extremely difficult to edit something wrong out but i managed.

The most surprising or interesting thing I learned from this activity is that I'm pretty good with the paint brush if i do say so myself. I know its kind of a third grade thing to do, painting, but i learned how to design different colors from each paint.
The aspect of my work on this activity that I am most satisfied with is with one particular drawing. I felt that i worked so hard on that one cause i really likes the concept and colors i chose. I was happy with how it turned out and that i can create a masterpiece.

The aspect of my work on this activity that I am least satisfied with is one drawing that really was hard to interpret into a drawing. Mainly because the color was black and it was so plain. It was just so dull that i felt as if it was my worst. It wasn't the actual character it was what was on it. Just one piece of all black. Hard to make soothing interesting out of that.
