Virtual Choir?

Eric Whitacre: A virtual choir 2,000 voices strong

A virtual choir?
What is that?
Why should you care?
Do you love performing?
Wouldn't you love to be a part of something that has over 200,000 views?

I love performing and how people are incorporating technology to do it.
Watch the video below and see what an amazing idea a "Virtual Choir" is.

Wasn't that amazing? Not only was this a great to tribute to the artist and his music but it was great exposure and once again an opportunity to be a star... to be seen! I would love to do something like this with a scene from Macbeth or a monologue. What I think would be even better is to choreograph a musical number and splice it together. Youtube is such a great platform for people to share and interact with each other. This piece is not my personal taste in music but it was soothing and intriguing to watch. He used a wide variety of people, despite their age, color and even their voices. Visit Ted (Ideas Worth Spreading) to see more innovative ideas that incorporate the Arts and technology. They also have great stories and video dealing with education.

What great idea do you have that incorporates performing and technology? Share it below... But before you do make sure that you start it. We wouldn't want someone taking your great idea and filming it before you get a chance.

(A little self-promotion... I'll be hosting a LIVE online telethon on Saturday 1 PM-5 PM.
(Hint... Hint... you may see some performers from Nova High)
